Different User Different Authority

Can set up different users with different rights for using the hotel door lock software.  This will make sure some unknown vulnerabilities happen. 

The M1 hotel lock software has four levels of authority management, strictly controls the authority of different personnel in different positions to prevent employees from exploiting software authority loopholes, issuing cards by themselves, anti-checkout, and other methods to embezzle hotel money, and to ensure financial security.

 

Easy to Operate 

The M1 hotel lock software can learn in 10 minutes, and the M1 hotel lock can finish setup in 3 seconds. The software adopts no driver USB technology, and input on the USB port can be used without installing driver software. The computer with the USB port can work with our M1 card encoder.  Reading an authorized card 3 times can finish the M1 hotel door lock software authorization, and then read the matched room card without needing the room setup card and time setup card again, the room number and time, which are issued by the room card. 

 

Can Save Much Cost 

Resist illegal cards; only the valid room card can work. 

And working with YonAnn time time-limited energy-saving switch can reduce costs. 

The time-limited card switch only works with the valid room card; other hotel room cards can’t use it.  We have a example, the hotel have 100 rooms, and each kilowatt-hour of electricity is usd0.2, and each room saves an average of 2 hours of electricity per day, after install our time limited energy saving switch, the electricity bill can be saved every year: 1.3 kilowatts x 100 rooms x 2 hours/day x 365 days x usd0.2 / electricity = usd18980.

Hotel Lock Different Cards Functions

Test card: The door lock didn’t register after installation. The test card can unlock the door for testing if the lock is installed the right way. After the locks are authorized, the test card can’t unlock anymore.  Only the lock that is set to the factory model can unlock again.

Authorized card:  It is used for software installation and authorization, and can open the door lock which didn’t authorized.

Room installation card: used to set basic information, such as the room number. Applicable to all door locks in the system. The room installation card can be recycled after use.

Time setup card: used to set and calibrate the door lock clock. The time card can be used alone and can be recycled to use for a room card after use.

Channel card: used to set the channel function of the door lock, generally used in meeting rooms or some public areas.

Guest card: a guest card to unlock the defined room. Can choose if to lock the door in deadbolt or can’t when programming it.  It is used for hotel guests or the corresponding personnel.

Master card: Can open all door locks in the system, and the lock in the deadbolt can unlock too. The master card generally held by the general manager of the hotel

Floor card: all door locks on a certain floor can be opened, and can’t be unlocked when the door locks are in deadbolt status. The floor card is generally kept and used by the floor attendant or the corresponding personnel.

Building card: can open all door locks of a certain building.

Emergency card: All door locks in the system can be opened in an emergency state, even when the door locks are deadbolts. When the door lock is opened by the emergency card, the door lock remains unlocked until any other valid room card reads it. Emergency cards are generally kept by the security department or the fire department.

 

How to Install a Hotel Door Lock on a DoorHotel lock install step on door
  1. Drill a hole in the door according to the drill hole template we offered

Drill hole way:

a Confirm the suitable datum line on the door

b. Print out the line, and use the template

c. Drill hole use tool

  1. Install a Mortise lock

Step:      a. Put a mortise lock in the drilled hole door, and fasten it using a screw

b. Install the sliding plate and fasten it with a screw.

  1. Install front and back lock parts

a.Connect the right port, and put the big square, and fasten the back lock on the inner door side.

b.Put the big square and the small square, fasten the back and front lock part, use 4 pcs long screws

c. Connect the battery box port and PCB port. Fasten the battery box on the back lock part

 

4. Drill a hole in the lock frame according to the template

5. Fasten the gusset plate  and buckle the box

6. Install finish, after installation, need to test the lock by reading the test card

a. Check that all parts have fastened

b. Pull and push the door to check if it can open and close the right way.

c.  Use the mechanical key to check if it can work smoothly

d. Then can set up the software.

 

How to Identify the Lock Left Handle and Right Handle

The door has a pull door and a push door; we can check the hinge installation on the left door or the right door. Then can identify its handle.

About Temic Hotel Lock & Mifare Hotel Lock , What’s the Difference ! 

What’s The Difference between Temic 57 card and Mifare Card 

The recently 20 years ,the hotel usually adopt RFID hotel door lock for their room door instead of traditional mechanical key locks to enhance the customer experience .Which had make the RFID hotel locks industrial developed fast for the recently 20 years as well , almost all hotels adopt RFID hotel locks in nowadays . RFID is Radio Frequency Identification, and RFID hotel locks main use two type card chip in nowadays hotel industrial : Temic 57 hotel lock and Mifare hotel lock .

Temic 57 Card 

Temic 57 chip is made by ATMEL , with 330bit storage memory .

Temic 57 card is a low-cost, can readable and writable RFID card. The card only can encrypt for read and write operations. It has a working frequency 125 Khz .

Temic 57 card chip is a kind of RFID IC card with a read and write function, it also can be encrypted .

It is usually used for access control and RFID unlocking applications.

Mifare 1 Card 

Mifare is made by NXP (PHILIPS) and widely used as an RFID card with working frequency of 13.56 Mhz. Mifare cards have multi functions, so nowadays most of large and luxury hotels and offices preform Mifare hotel lock more than Temic 57 hotel lock (some fingerprint smart locks  adopt Mifare technology as well ) .

Mifare cards had wide usage like public transportation system:  metro, bus etc , city public charge : tel , water meter, (i.e. subway, bus),public toll system, financial bond, attendance management etc. Due to its wide range application and large quantity, lots of Mifare card manufacturers supply compatible Mifare cards.

Mifare card is an all purpose card: One Mifare S50 card has 16 blocks in it, like put 16 cards in this card, use this card can meet different purposes : it can achieve access control, life control, consumer management etc .

Mifare cards and other high frequency cards can’t be copied .

Compare Different on Temic 57 Hotel Lock and Mifare Hotel Lock !

Temic 57 hotel locks use T57 card chip PCB , T57 card, and T57 card encoder, 125Khz reading frequency energy saving switches .

Mifare hotel locks use Mifare chip PCB , mifare card encoder and mifare room card , Mifare energy saving switch work with 13.56 Mhz reading frequency .

Temic hotel lock can only work with the hotel lock , card and card encoder ,energy saving switch based on Temic 57 card chip , Mifare hotel lock are same , that’s Temic hotel lock and Mifare hotel lock can’t mixed use their parts together , also their hotel door lock software can’t use mix too, they can’t compared with each other .

Also for different hotel lock manufacturers and suppliers they use their own encryption ways to encrypt their cards, and each hotel lock supplier’s ways are different to make their hotel door lock software , and hotel door lock RFID cards are different , the different suppliers hotel lock system parts can’t mix work too .

When you need a RFID hotel lock, maybe you don’t know how to choose from the two different RFID hotel locks .

Here below list some difference between them : 

1) The extended applications and functions

Compared Mifare hotel lock, Temic 57 hotel lock with limited functions , it can’t use for all in one full function system , but only can  be for hotel room card to unlock the rooms .

Mifare hotel lock can not only use for door unlock , but also some extend application and functions for : access control , consumer place in hotel like SPA, restaurant and other consumers place), parking, gym …

If you hotel adopt Mifare 1 hotel lock , the room card can’t be use for room door open , in some public place access control can enter use this room card too . The hotel with consume.

T57 hotel lock and Mifare hotel lock can work with hotel elevator control system and energy saving switch .

2) Data Collect

If the hotel want to collect the unlock records data from the RFID hotel lock , it’s a little difference of the two type hotel locks . Temic hotel lock need a data collect device to collect the records from the lock inside after that connect the computer , the histories data can list in the hotel lock software can be print out .

Mifare hotel lock just use a Mifare 4K S70 large data storage card can collect the unlock records from the lock inside and the records can list in hotel lock software be print out .

3) Safety

In the hotel application, RFID Mifare hotel locks have higher security and more reliability and much more extend capability in system compared Temic 57 hotel lock .

MIFARE chip technology is the most used and mature with most stable contact-less IC card . It has strong anti-interference ability . when difference cards get together to read and write at the same , Mifare card can prevents it’s inside data being interfered for it’s has a fast anti-collision mechanism inside .

Reading and writing Mifare card inside data need the matched authorized password ,also each area of the card have it’s own password ,each block have it’s password too .

4) Working and Reading distance

In the real appliance of RFID hotel locks , Temic 57 hotel locks are different with Mifare hotel lock .

RFID hotel locks material are metal expect the front contact area , so the electronic parts will be surround by metal , this will weaken the sign launch.  Both 125Khz and 13.56Mhz signal can effect , while higher frequencies can still keep 3-5cm reading distance , and 125Khz have 1-2cm working distance .

5) Cost

The RFID hotel lock system have hotel lock ,RFID card , and card encoder , energy saving switch work with .

Compared with Temic 57 hotel lock , all Mifare hotel lock parts cost higher than Temic hotel lock ( the hotel lock , Mifare card, Mifare card encoder and energy saving switch etc )
